Why Robud

In college, as many girls do we would pack up and go shopping. Target had just opened in our little college town so we were in. It was bright and sparkly new and there were lots of things I had to have, even though I lived in the sorority house and shared my room with 5 other girls. So what is the best thing for a poor college girl to do? Get a Target Card. I filled out my application, got my 10% off and went on my way.

So 2 or so weeks later I get my card in the mail, with "my name" on it. Heile Robud. My first name is not Heile and my last name is not Robud. But Robud stuck with me since I continued to get mail at the sorority house with Robud on it. They might still be getting mail for Ms. Robud for all I know.

So that is where I started with Robud and it stuck. I have co-workers call me Robud and most of my Avatar names are Robud. I like it I think I will stick with it.

I have also decided that I do want to blog but I don't want everyone to "know who I am", I think it will be better for me and I just want a small feeling of anonymity. I know I won't really have that but at least I can try. And worst case scenario I can always make it private.
